【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】英國一名27歲女子布朗(Samantha Brown)，身高173公分，體重卻只有35公斤。原因是她因工作失意患上強迫症，而強迫症導致她厭食，看到食物都認為是毒藥。

布朗說，她原是造型師，但2008年金融海嘯讓她所有生意全毀，連找打工都找不到，當下她非常沮喪，轉而對食物開始「控制」，除了穀類和薯餅等基本澱粉飲食，其他食物一律不吃。即便媽媽煮通心麵給她，她也不肯吃，還覺得連累家人，企圖自尋短見。後來布朗求醫，以為自己只是患上厭食症，但醫生告訴她其實是壓力太大，患上強迫症，警告她若再瘦下去，器官可能衰竭。

之後布朗開始接受心理及行為治療，終於增肥成功，回到60公斤。強迫症是由焦慮引起，無論成人、長者或兒童都有可能患上。較常見的徵狀有重覆洗手、不停檢查大門有沒有鎖好或不停儲藏物品等。
