假和尚手拿刷卡機　澳洲街頭化緣

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】澳洲新南威爾斯街頭，有數十人聲稱近日遇到不少假扮和尚的騙子。《澳洲日報》轉述當地民眾指出，曾有一名裝扮成僧侶的亞裔男子要求她捐款，她推說沒帶現金後，該男子就要求她到自動櫃員機領錢；更有民眾爆料，他遇到的那位和尚，竟隨身帶著一個信用卡刷卡機！

雪梨東區老師布倫南(Pat Brennan)表示，一名身穿長袍的光頭男子靠近他，要求他捐款，但布倫南略帶歉意告訴他身邊沒有現金，這位「和尚」竟然貼心地掏出信用卡刷卡機。他大罵：「別鬧了，我才不會把信用卡給你！」該男子才騎著單車離開。

當地公平交易廳已發佈警告，提醒民眾應小心此類騙局。代理公平交易專員表示：「這些人是在利用公眾的慷慨和善心，他們與佛教社群根本沒有關係；新南威爾斯州沒有針對乞討的法令規範，但這種行為很顯然是一種詐騙。」

澳洲佛教徒委員聯盟強調，真正的佛教僧侶是不會在街頭向陌生人討取現金的。
