【於慶中／綜合外電報導】敍利亞內戰持續，敍利亞叛軍從「基地」組織(al-Qaeda)分支「伊拉克與黎凡特伊斯蘭國」(ISIL)手中，重奪中部大城阿勒頗(Aleppo)總部控制權，救出多名被囚人士，並發現ISIL處決了至少50名遭囚禁的記者、人道工作者及國際志工。

根據曝光的影片片段顯示，ISIL將至少9名「囚犯」鎖上手銬及蒙眼後槍決；另外有大量相片可見，國際志工多數都遭到蒙眼槍決，死狀恐怖。捷克的人道組織證實，3名人道工作者，在迫擊炮襲擊時被殺。

2003年美軍入侵伊拉克，ISIL在伊拉克及敘利亞邊境地區抵抗美軍，遭美軍狂攻後，勢力減弱，但到2011年美軍撤出伊拉克後，鄰國敘利亞爆發內戰，使得ISIL捲土重來，並參與敍利亞的內戰，至今暴行曝光。
