今年元旦剛上任的紐約新市長德布拉西奧被曝用刀叉吃披薩，此舉引發了市民的不滿。

廣州日報據英媒報導，德布拉西奧在紐約史坦頓島一家披薩店揮舞著刀叉吃披薩的照片在推特等社交網路上瘋狂。這組照片顯示，這位新市長吃披薩前要先用刀叉將它們切成片。

很多紐約人不能接受德布拉西奧的這種吃法，他們認為披薩應該疊起來然後用手拿著吃。此事曝光後引發了很多負面評論，更有甚者要求彈劾這位新上任的市長。

德布拉西奧是義大利裔美國人。他在事後解釋道，他習慣了義大利式的披薩吃法，也就是先用刀叉切開，然後用手抓著吃。
