疑因「基地」呼籲向美復仇　德州教師遭槍殺

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】恐怖組織「基地」(al-Qaeda)日前公開呼籲利比亞民眾，應主動向美國採取報復行動，當地時間昨天(5日)凌晨，一名來自美國德州33歲志工、正在當地班加西國際學校任教的化學老師史密斯(Ronnie Smith)，出外跑步時就被人開槍打死。

當地媒體報導，史密斯是在清晨出門跑步、途經美國領事館附近時中槍倒地。這是美國駐班加西領事遭到暗殺身亡後，在利比亞當地首宗美國人被殺的事件。班加西國際學校發言人表示，史密斯非常喜歡待在班加西，他和每個人相處都很好，原本計畫聖誕節回美國與家人團聚。他的學生在《推特》(twitter)
留言說：「謝謝你每天冒著生命危險，幫助我們探索生命的可能性。我們很遺憾你這樣離開。」
