安理會非常任理事國投票　約旦確定獲選

【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】沙烏地阿拉伯為抗議安理會未能結束敘利亞內戰，以及未能解決中東紛爭，拒絕出任非常任理事國，約旦11月18日宣布申請競選，填補沙國空缺。

身為唯一參選的國家約旦，還是需要聯合國三分之二的會員投票通過，才能獲得席位，6日193個會員國投票，約旦獲得178張票數，順利獲得非常任理事國的席位，將從2014年1月1日開始就任，任期2年。

約旦將加入立陶宛、智利、奈及利亞和查德行列成為新的非常任理事國，另外5個現有非常任理事國則為阿根廷、澳洲、盧森堡、南韓和盧安達。
