科技網站《BGR》周四 (5日) 報導，根據印度科技公司 Zauba 網站資料，三星電子 (Samsung Electronics Co.)(005930-KR) 看來正在籌備推出新的 Windows Phone 8 平台手機，型號為「SM-W750V」。

目前詳細情況仍難以獲知，但根據公司的進口數據清單，此款手機搭配 5 吋螢幕，價格為 33,245 盧比 (540 美元)，高級規格應和公司旗艦款手機不相上下。

三星一直不避諱坦白，正探索 Android 以外智慧手機平台的發展性，尤其自家開發的平台 Tizen 現已即將問世。

推出 Windows Phone 手機可讓三星進一步拓張版圖，現微軟正深入發展 WP 系統事業，對三星來說也是個絕妙時機。
