台北市動物園生態鳥園　明早重新開放

【蔡永彬／台北報導】台北市立動物園的生態鳥園施工完成，明早10時重新開放民眾參觀，北市動物園表示，鳥園的鳥類生活空間大致分為水池區、地面層及樹林中上層3大類，展示物種以鳩鴿類及椋鳥類為主，鶴類及雉雞類為輔，再搭配一些較有特色的鳥類。

北市動物園舉例，澳洲冠鳩生活在地面層，地面上有樹木或灌叢的落葉，提供牠們翻開落葉找食物的機會；動物園也在地面設置沙坑，讓澳洲冠鳩行日光浴或沙浴，其中1對澳洲冠鳩已經開始築巢。另外，紫蕉鵑在樹林中上層生活，色彩相當鮮豔，但牠們都很害羞，民眾要請放慢腳步仔細觀察，在木棉花、雀榕、茄苳、構樹及蓮霧等有果實的樹上，就有機會看到紫蕉鵑覓食。
