搶占車市 通用汽車上海廠破土

（法新社上海19日電） 美國汽車業巨擘通用汽車公司（GM）今天為上海廠舉行破土儀式。通用為了搶占中國大陸豪華車市場，斥資13億美元在上海建廠，生產凱迪拉克（Cadillac）。

通用管理階層在儀式前的記者會上說，新廠每年可生產16萬輛車，預計兩年內開始生產。

通用董事長暨執行長艾克森（Dan Akerson）說：「我們將在這裡打造高級的頂級車，迎戰歐洲與日本競爭者。」

若依據銷售數量，通用汽車是全大陸銷量最佳的外國車廠。不過在豪華車市場占有率不佳，由德國車系吃下約80%的大餅。

通用這次對於凱迪拉克進攻相當野心勃勃，管理階層表示，目標是在2020年前搶占10%的大陸豪華車市場，目前通用僅占2.5%。

顧問公司麥肯錫（McKinsey）稍早預測，從現在到2020年，大陸頂級車市場每年成長12%。麥肯錫公司定義「頂級車」為定價3萬2000美元至19萬美元的車款。

根據這種定義，大陸市場去年售出125萬輛頂級車，僅落後美國。（譯者：中央社蕭倩芸）
