盧森堡正副總理都是同志 成全球首例

歐洲小國盧森堡新任總理貝特爾（Xavier Bettel）和副總理施奈德（Etienne Schneider）4日宣誓就職，創下由兩位同志任國家領導人的全球首例，也為推動同性婚姻合法化等改革鋪下坦途。

現年40歲的貝特爾曾任首都盧森堡市的市長，在10月的大選中率領民主黨贏得國會13席，社會工人黨也贏得13席，兩黨經協商決定成立聯合政府，由貝特爾擔任總理，他接著任命社會工人黨領袖施奈德為副手。

律師出身的貝特爾2011年公開出櫃，承認自己是同性戀，副手施奈德也是同志。預料新政府將推動一系列社會改革，包括同性婚姻合法化，在各級學校增開公民道德課，取代宗教課程等等。

貝特爾的性取向備受矚目，但他強調，自己從未把性取向當成政見的重點。他說：「大家投票給我是因為我的人品，同時也全力支持我領導的黨。他們樂見我開心，因為家庭和樂，外人才感受得到你愉快的心情，也才看得到你優異的工作表現。」
