【財經中心／台北報導】台南奇美醫院創辦人許文龍今日獲日本政府頒發「旭日中綬章」，許文龍表示，「很感動」，並承諾將持續為台日關係及文化交流貢獻力量。
 
日本交流協會公布秋季外國人敘勳受章者名單，許文龍身為全球最大ABS樹脂廠創辦人，供應日本汽車產業及家電產業等發展不可或缺之原材料，並於擔任總統府資政期間，協助促進日台經濟交流，今日獲得此榮譽。
