憂隱私 谷歌眼鏡不推臉辨識

（法新社舊金山1日電） 谷歌昨天表示，考量外界的隱私疑慮，谷歌眼鏡（Glass）將不會加入臉部辨識功能。

谷歌在網路上對谷歌眼鏡的軟體開發者發布訊息：「除非有完善的隱私保護措施，否則不會在產品中加入臉部辨識功能。」

「現階段我們不會在谷歌眼鏡中加入臉部辨識功能。」

國會隱私小組會議（Congressional PrivacyCaucus）成員5月時要求谷歌說明，谷歌眼鏡是如何蒐集並使用採集到的資料。一些使用者正在測試谷歌眼鏡，眼鏡預期今年稍後上市。

美國有些小企業憂心谷歌眼鏡的拍照或錄影功能會冒犯店內顧客，已表示要禁止谷歌眼鏡。（譯者：中央社林亭儀）
