海生館野放 綠蠵龜、玳瑁回家鄉

〔自由時報記者陳彥廷／車城報導〕車城海生館昨日於後灣沙灘野放兩隻海龜回歸大海，現場的小朋友不捨向海龜說bye bye。

響應「國際海洋清潔日」，海生館昨將帶有衛星發報器的綠蠵龜、玳瑁野放，並進行淨灘，在颱風肆虐後，還給後灣一個乾淨的空間。

「絕對不能說再見！」海生館館長王維賢打趣表示，自從上次野放鯨鯊還「再相見」，受環保人士熱議後，現在他們野放時都非常小心，但這兩隻海龜年齡還小，不希望因誤捕造成死亡或受傷，期待自此能夠在大海悠游。

負責野放的海生館獸醫李宗賢說，這次野放的海龜有兩隻，分別是三月於車城鄉誤捕的玳瑁，和四月雲林遭漁船誤捕的綠蠵龜，在歷經約半年的照護後，和福智基金會合作，將康復的海龜裝置衛星追蹤器並野放回大海，作最好的環境教育。
