中油新三輕廠水蒸氣洩漏發出巨響　居民虛驚

【楊適群╱高雄報導】位在高雄林園石化工業區內的中油新三輕，今晨零時傳出疑似爆裂聲響，附近居民以為發生工安意外報警。警消到場發現，聲音來源是水蒸氣閥釋放水蒸氣所發出的聲音，並非爆炸也無人傷亡。
 
環保局人員到場檢測，測得氣閥洩漏聲為62.1分貝，沒有超過第四類管制區65分貝的標準，故不開罰。今早10時附近文賢里、五福里、東林里長和市議員韓賜村等4人，前往廠區要廠方給說法。廠方表示，新三輕在本月8日取得市府環保局的試車許可，計畫將投入量產乙烯、丙烯等原料以滿足下游需求，今晨因廠內水蒸氣管線與閥門間的固定環（法蘭）疑未鎖緊出現細縫，導致水蒸氣洩漏發出聲響，洩壓完畢後就沒有聲音，並無安全之虞。
