吳英毅：舊金山全力護旗

（中央社記者李淑華台北10日電）僑務委員會委員長吳英毅今天下午應邀赴國民黨中常會報告僑務；對於舊金山中華總會館5月間移除國旗一事，僑委會將會全力護旗。

中國國民黨下午召開中央常務委員會，邀請吳英毅就「傳承創新僑務新思維」為題提出專題報告。

書面報告指出，僑委會未來工作展望，包括加強海外青年聯繫，策勵僑社永續發展；發展雲端僑教，擴大全球華文市場；結合海外僑台商，拓展海外新興市場；厚植僑生優秀人才，提升國家競爭力；系統化辦理僑務資料蒐集及分析，提升僑務論述的多元面向。

書面報告也提及舊金山中華總會館5月27日移除中華民國國旗一事。事件發生後，「泛美中華會館聯誼會」等北美各地具代表性傳統僑團，均於事發第一時間公開發表聲明，表達堅定支持中華民國；舊金山地區128個新僑團體也於6月8日發起「舊金山灣區僑胞護旗行動大會」。

書面說，僑委會感謝各地支持中華民國的傳統僑社，並會密切關注事件後續發展，全力護旗並鞏固傳統僑社支持中華民國的立場。1020710
