【綜合報導】澳洲有一名4歲女童，誤把鋰電池當糖果吃，導致胃出血，送醫後不幸身亡。

當地兒童安全組織提醒家長要小心，因為小孩吞下鋰電池，多半會卡在食道，口水會和鋰電池產生化學作用，約一小時就會把食道燒出洞來，繼而燒至主動脈和脊椎等。澳洲每周約有4名兒童因涉及鋰電池事故，到急診室求助。
