全球最短航線飛行員 完成一萬兩千多趟勤務後退休

英國飛行員（林克雷特）飛行全球最短的航線，在執行了一萬兩千多趟勤務之後，他即將功成身退。（夏明珠報導）

59歲的（林克雷特）是英國洛根航空公司的飛行員，多半時間，負責蘇格蘭奧克尼群島Westray到Papa Westray兩個小島間的航線，這條航程包括跑道滑行在內，只有2.72公里，大概和愛丁堡機場的跑道一樣長。

（林克雷特）在職24年，飛八人座的小飛機，執行了一萬兩千多次勤務，他說，蘇格蘭天氣多變，島嶼間飛行很具有挑戰性，不過，每一分鐘他都很享受。

（林克雷特）在1988年加入洛根航空，前16年是洛根航空醫療救護機的飛行員，過去25年，他的飛行里程已經可以繞地球50圈。

洛根航空說，他的出勤次數，應該可以申請世界紀錄，每趟飛行耗費的時間53秒，應該也是世界紀錄。

（林克雷特）今天過六十歲生日，去年底，他就當爺爺了。退休之後，他將繼續擔任兼差飛行員。
