聯準會(FED)前主席葛林斯班7日在接受CNBC財經節目訪問時表示，在大規模推行量化寬鬆(QE)後，聯準會(FED)資產負債表已經過胖，現在即使美國經濟還沒做好QE退場前準備，FED都有必要開始進行瘦身。

葛林斯班指出，現在問題已經已不光只是放緩寬鬆力道而已，更重要的是何時縮減資產規模，因為如果只是減緩購債速度，FED資產總量還是會持續攀升。據CNBC報導，截至6月5日止，FED帳面資產總額自前周的3.342兆擴增至3.357兆美元，持續向年底4兆美元大關邁進。

葛林斯班還表示，毫無疑問的，債券價格未來將會下滑，而長債殖利率將會上揚，但目前尚無法確定的是，當債市調整開始時，利率上升的速度會有多快，債券投資人應做好心理準備，殖利率上升的力道可能會較預期猛烈。
